MPCA is committed to increasing Missouri’s primary care workforce in rural and underserved communities. One of our initiatives that support these efforts is Missouri Health Professional Placement Services (MHPPS). MHPPS is the state’s leading nonprofit recruitment program that is devoted solely to rural and underserved areas.

Our unique program assists communities with recruiting and retaining dedicated healthcare providers who have expressed an interest in practicing in our state. We focus on both the interests of health care providers and the communities they serve.
