Director of Training and Technical Assistance

 

Machelle Hansens joined MPCA in November 2016 and serves as the Director of Training and Technical Assistance as well as Annual Conference lead. Prior to this role, she was the Lead Practice Transformation Coach for the Primary Care Health Home program at MPCA. Between MPCA and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), she has over 20 years of healthcare quality and training experience, including event coordination, practice transformation, continuous improvement, data analysis, patient safety, nursing administration, and executive management.  Machelle has significant experience facilitating cross-functional teams, is a trained facilitator, a certified mentor, and served as a “Missouri Quality Award” Examiner through the Excellence in Missouri Foundation for several years. Mrs. Hansens is a Certified Professional in Health Care Quality and a NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert.
