Recruitment & Workforce Development

MO Health Professional Placement Services (MHPPS) helps communities recruit and retain dedicated healthcare providers who have expressed an interest in practicing in rural and underserved areas of our state.  MHPPS focuses on both the interests of health care providers and the communities they serve.  MHPPS offers a variety of key services to health care professionals or employers/communities including:

    • Detailed practice and community profiles for opportunities throughout Missouri
    • Marketing of current job opportunities and profiles on 3RNet through MHPPS Recruitment Database
    • Detailed Candidate/Health Professional profiles
    • Referrals of Candidates/Health Professionals  who have expressed an interest in job opportunities     
    • Attendance and participation at various State and National professional medical and dental conferences/events to promote job opportunities throughout Missouri
    • National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Ambassadors
    • Advocates for primary medical, dental, and behavioral health care
    • NHSC expertise and technical assistance
    • PRIMO Scholar service obligation assistance
    • State Loan Repayment Program technical assistance
    • Linkages to local, state, and national healthcare organizations and recruitment networks
    • Information on recruitment and retention related topics
    • Promote MO opportunities at Medical and Dental Schools, Residency and other health professional programs

FEE STRUCTURE:

Non-Profit Organization

    • $500 Yearly Participation Fee
    • $2500 Placement Fee per Physician or Dentist
    • $1000 Placement Fee per Allied Health Professional

For-Profit Organization

  • $1000 Yearly Participation Fee
  • $5000 Placement Fee per Physician or Dentist
  • $2000 Placement Fee per Allied Health Professional
