Promoting and developing programs that increase access to quality oral health care throughout the State of Missouri.

Good oral health is vital to maintaining strong overall health. MPCA works with Dental Directors to integrate dental clinical and administrative functions at Community Health Center dental clinics in Missouri.  Each Dental Director at Missouri’s Community Health Centers has direct input into the priorities and activities of the Oral Health Network, staffed by Karen Dent.

The network provides:

• Guidelines for dental program policies, procedures and protocols
• Quality improvement systems including Network-wide chart reviews, evaluation, and peer review system
• Oral health professional workforce pipeline
• Oral health education and prevention programming
• Continuing Education Programming
• Collaboration with other organizations that promote oral health access and quality
